Program Description:
The MS in Electrical Engineering program consists of 10 graduate courses (30 credits). The program includes four core engineering managment courses, which are designed to enhance your ability to adapt as you transition from project to project. Our Unique approach will help you develop practical skills essential for advancing your career. An overview of the curriculum is as follows:
Core Courses:
* EMGT 605 Engineering Management or EMGT 648 Project Management
* EMGT 607 Quality Engineering
* EMGT 643 Design of Experiments
* EMGT 650 System Integration
For the remaining credits, there are three options:
1. All-course option (30 credits program total)
* EE 601 Advanced Electrical Engineering Analysis (3 credits)
* 15 credits of coursework
o Any EE or CPE 500/600 level course
o Maximum of three 500 level
2. Project Option (30 credits program total)
* Project with presentation (3 credits)
* EE 601 Advanced Electrical Engineering Analysis (3 credits)
* 12 credits of coursework
o Any EE or CPE 500/600 level course
o Maximum of two 500 level
3. Thesis Option (30 credits program total)
* Thesis with presentation (6 credits)
* EE 601 Advanced Electrical Engineering Analysis (3 credits)
* 9 credits of coursework
o Any EE or CPE 500/600 level course
o Maximum of one 500 level
