Program Description:

A cutting-edge sport and exercise psychology doctoral program based on the scientist-practitioner model. Students can be admitted to the doctoral program with either a baccalaureate or master's degree. Students admitted to the doctoral program in sport psychology are admitted concurrently to the master's degree program in counseling. Practica and internship opportunities exist with the CHAMPS/Life Skills Program, the Disease Prevention Program, high school and college athletic teams, community counseling/mental health centers, and the university learning center.
