Program Description:

The School of Nursing offers a program of study leading to the Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) degree in rural primary health care with preparation in advanced practice nursing, nursing administration, or nursing education. The emphasis of advanced practice is on the vulnerable family population with specialization in children's health, elder health, or women's health. Subspecialties are potentially available. The program is offered at the University main campus in Morgantown and at selected extension sites. The program is fully accredited by the National League for Nursing.
