Program Description:
M.D. or D.O. required for admission.The goal of this program is to prepare a physiatrist (physician specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation) in the expanded roles of clinician-researcher and clinician-administrator. Students in this program will primarily be residents in physical medicine and rehabilitation. The curriculum will enable graduates to function as competent practitioners in the care of persons with disabilities. In addition, it will develop core competencies in the areas of medical rehabilitation research and rehabilitation administration.
