Program Description:
Opportunities for advanced study and research are presently available in such areas as air pollution, biomechanics, composite materials, and computational mechanics. The department also participates in the interdepartmental programs in Biomedical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering. Students interested in these fields and registered in the department may take courses offered by these programs and pursue a research project under the supervision of the associate faculty.
