Format: Campus
Program Description:
We offer Master of Architecture programs for applicants who hold baccalaureate degrees, either in architecture or another field of study. Our Master of Landscape Architecture program offers professional training to those with or without previous landscape architecture training in their undergraduate preparation. Our Master of Urban Design degree program is offered for those who have a professional accredited degree in architecture or landscape architecture. A central purpose for our programs is the establishment of the individual's identity as design leaders: expressive, skillful designers, prepared to act as thoughtful, socially responsible members of the profession. Along with a focus on St. Louis and North America in the curriculum, the School’s international studios expand the physical reach of the graduate programs, which we refer to in our publications as architecture in the making, architecture in the world.
Accreditation:
The professional M.Arch. degree is accredited by NAAB (National Architectural Accrediting Board), Washington, DC. The professional MLA degree is presently in "candidacy status" with Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board (LAAB). The program will be formally reviewed for accreditation during Fall 2012.
