Program Description:

The Department of Art History and Archaeology at Washington University in St. Louis offers programs leading to M.A. and Ph.D. degrees. In addition to academic study in four principal areas, we encourage students to pursue intensive research and curatorial experience while obtaining their degree. A majority of the graduate students in the Department of Art History and Archaeology receive full- or partial-tuition scholarships. In addition, the Department offers fellowships, teaching assistantships, and work opportunities.
