Program Description:

One of the strengths of the microbiology faculty at WSU is the wide variety of research opportunities offered in the areas of fungal development, immunology, physiology, host-parasite relationships, insect pathogenesis, membrane structure and function, and gene regulation. Students learn to communicate and present their ideas by exhibiting their research results in departmental seminars and by participating in the department's teaching program.
