Degree Offered

MS Agriculture - The Master of Science in Agriculture is offered through the Tri-State Agricultural Distance Delivery Alliance(TADDA), a cooperative distance delivery program developed by the land grant universities of the University of Idaho (UI), Oregon State University (OSU), and Washington State University (WSU). Combining resources from all three universities, TADDA enables students throughout the world to obtain a master's degree in agriculture via distance education.

Format: Campus

Program Description:

Emphasis of the Master of Science in Agriculture program is on the agricultural professional, practitioner, and educator. The program is designed for students, at a distance and on campus, who wish to prepare for or further their careers in agriculture without having to relocate or interfere with their current employment. A maximum number of electives is permitted to enable the student to concentrate in one or two fields, or otherwise tailor the curriculum to fit particular needs. Students may choose between a thesis or non-thesis program. If it is a non-thesis program the student is required to complete 6 credits of practicums instead of a thesis. The practicums will be approved at least one semester prior to registering for the course and must be approved by the student's graduate committee.
