Program Description:

Study in the design disciplines at WSU Spokane is in the unique context of the Interdisciplinary Design Institute, which brings together architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture. The Interior Design program prepares graduates to pursue careers as interior design educators, researchers, and practitioners, and offers a quality graduate program which incorporates both strong studio design and qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. Applicants without a design background will be required to take undergraduate courses in interior design before completion of the MA degree in Interior Design. Students have the option of pursuing a dual master's degree in Interior Design and another design discipline.
