The Master’s in Economics is a high-quality one-year programme designed for the professional economist. It will equip you with the essential tools of economics and teach you how to apply these tools in real-life situations.Besides the compulsory courses the Master’s Programme in Economics offers the possibility to specialize in one of the following specializations: International Economic Policy, Markets, Competition and Governement, Social Economic Policy and Spatial, Transport & Environmental Economics.There are a wide range of possibilities open to the professional economist. Potential employers include multinationals, the IMF, the European Union, and government departments. It is also possible to work for policy advisory agencies or research institutes such as TNO Work and Employment.
