Program Description:

As an earth scientist, you are fascinated by how the earth fits together as a complex system. How soil, climate and plate tectonics are interlinked. You want to contribute to the sustainable development of the natural resource of our planet. There is a great need for such scientists in a society that can no longer take for granted factors like climate, clean drinking water, availability of oil and gas or the stability of the ground upon which we live.Where you end up as an earth scientist depends on your specialization. Oil and gas companies, soil consultancy firms and museums are among the many possibilities. You can also pursue a career in research at a ministry, a university, a geological service or a research institute.
