Program Description:
The Building Construction Program develops a technically competent building industry leader. This is accomplished through academic inquiry into practical, scientific, and innovative building construction and management knowledge with a focus on teamwork and leadership skills. All are in keeping with generating a thirst for lifelong learning. Upon successful completion of the four-year undergraduate program of 134 credit hours, the B.S. in Building Construction is conferred. The undergraduate program in Building Construction is accredited by the American Council for Construction Education. The department also offers a graduate program leading to a M.S. in Architecture, Construction Management option and a Ph. D. in Environmental Design and Planning with emphasis in construction and management.
