Program Description:

The Department of Pharmacology offers a program of graduate study leading to the Ph.D. degree. M.S. degrees are not offered. Pharmacology is closely associated with other departments in the medical school and with other University science departments offering students the special advantages of interdisciplinary research. The training program in pharmacological sciences also participates in the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences (IGP) at Vanderbilt University.
