Program Description:
The Vanderbilt University Law School's one-year LL.M. (Master of Laws) program is specially designed for outstanding graduates of foreign law schools who plan careers in their home countries either (a) as lawyers, judges, or scholars or (b) in government or international posts that demand excellence in researching and writing in English. The LL.M. program combines small LL.M. class size (between 5 to 10 students) with the opportunity to work "one-on-one" with a faculty advisor to produce a substantial scholarly research and writing project. In addition, LL.M. students may choose from any courses within the Law School's broad curriculum in order to design an individual program of study tailored to their needs.
