Program Description:
The Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in the Biomedical Sciences (IGP) admits and educates graduate students who are interested in basic biological and biomedical research. This program is responsible for organizing the training of these students in the first year of their graduate experience at Vanderbilt. Subsequently, the students choose a preceptor and a department to pursue their studies.
