Program Description:
The student is responsible for identifying a major professor and graduate committee who will help develop the individualized course of study in specific areas of interest. Graduate programs are flexible, according to the needs and interests of the student, and are selected from the 5000,6000, and 7000 level courses in Biological and Irrigation Engineering; Civil and Environmental Engineering; Plants, Soils, and Biometeorology; Mathematics and Statistics; and in many other departments across campus. The Department has guidelines for each degree program concerning the recommended emphasis in each of these areas. The student's research for the MS thesis or Ph.D. dissertation is conducted under the direction of a professor and graduate committee.
