Program Description:

The Department offers programs of study leading to an M.S. and Ph.D. degree in animal science, and an M.S. degree in food science and human nutrition. Students can specialize in breeding, food science and human nutrition, animal nutrition, physiology, meat science, reproduction or wool for course work and research projects. Primary emphasis is with beef cattle and sheep.
