Program Description:

The MS THRD program prepares professionals to meet the human resource development needs of business and industry. Students will learn to lead the learning function of an organization, to improve human performance, to facilitate organizational change, and to manage organizational knowledge.

Accreditation:

The Graduate School at UW-Stout is fully accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools (NCA) to offer programs at the master's and education specialist levels.

Eligibility Requirements:

A baccalaureate degree from an accredited university; an earned undergraduate GPA of 3.0; a background in training systems and organization leadership.

International Student Requirements:

Admission requirements include: (1) Admission to a graduate degree program and the Graduate School; (English Competency: Minimum required scores on the following are required: an IELTS score of 6.5, or TOEFL: 70 (iBT) 523 (paper). TOEFL scores under 79 [iBT (composite)], 550 (paper-based) will be required to take at least one advanced level language course through UW-Stout’s ESL program. Students admitted to the program whose English language skills are subsequently judged to be less than sufficient may be required to complete additional language preparation. Test scores should be sent directly to UW-Stout (school code #1740) Also required: Official copies of all post-secondary transcripts (translated into English), including proof of baccalaureate and/or highest earned degree; Undergraduae GPA of at least 3.0 (4.0 scale); Evidence of sufficient financial resources to complete a degree program; Non-refundable application fee payable to UW-Stout in U.S. funds.
