Program Description:

UW-Stout's MS in Education program is designed for teachers interested in pursuing professional development goals, as well as individuals whose career goals including teaching and training at the adult level. The program is designed for adults unable to attend on campus instruction during a typical teaching day.

International Student Requirements:

Minimum acceptable TOEFL iBT = 70. Applicants with TOEFL scores from 70 to 78 [iBT (composite)], 550 (paper-based) will be required to take at least one advanced level language course through UW-Stout's ESL program. Test scores should be sent directly to UW-Stout (school code #1740). Official copies of all post-secondary transcripts (translated into English), including proof of baccalaureate and/or highest earned degree. An undergraduate grade point average of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale and specific program requirements (contact program directors for information). Lastly, documented evidence of sufficient financial resources and assurance that the additional funds necessary to meet all expenses for the time it takes to complete a degree program will also be available.
