M.S.- Information and Communication Technologies
Program Description:
The communication and Information Technologies program is designed to enhance the careers of professionals working in technological areas related to information and communication. The program consists of a 15 credit core and an emphasis area with a minimum of 15 credits. In consultation with a faculty adviser, students develop an individualized program emphasis based on the core coursework. The emphasis areas are: Information Technology Management, Learning Technologies, Visual Communication Technology and Technology Coordinator.
Accreditation:
The Graduate School at UW-Stout is fully accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools (NCA) to offer programs at the master's and education specialist levels.

International Student Requirements:
Admission requirements include: (1) Admission to a graduate degree program and the Graduate School; (2) English proficiency TOEFL score of at least 173 computer-based and 500 paper-based or 213 computer-based, 550 paper-based depending on which program is chosen, and 61 Internet-based. Test scores should be sent directly to UW-Stout (school code #1740); (3) Official copies of all post-secondary transcripts (translated into English), including proof of baccalaureate and/or highest earned degree; (4) Undergraduate GPA of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale; (5) specific program requirements. Contact program directors for information; (6) Documented evidence of sufficient financial resources to complete a degree program; (7) the enclosed application form along with a non-refundable application fee payable to UW-Stout in U.S. funds.
