Program Description:

Designed for teachers, coordinators, and administrators in programs that prepare people for the world of work, this program prepares individuals for leadership positions in secondary, postsecondary, community or technical colleges, higher education, business and industry. In this flexible program, students can choose from 5 program emphases: teaching, career and technical education coordinator, administration, marketing education, or special needs.

International Student Requirements:

Admission requirements include: (1) Admission to a graduate degree program and the Graduate School; (2) English Competency: Minimum required scores on the following are required: an IELTS score of 6.5, or TOEFL: 70 (iBT) 523 (paper). TOEFL scores under 79 [iBT (composite)], 550 (paper-based) will be required to take at least one advanced level language course through UW-Stout’s ESL program. Students admitted to the program whose English language skills are subsequently judged to be less than sufficient may be required to complete additional language preparation. Test scores should be sent directly to UW-Stout (school code #1740) Also required: Official copies of all post-secondary transcripts (translated into English), including proof of baccalaureate and/or highest earned degree; Undergraduae GPA of at least 3.0 (4.0 scale); Evidence of sufficient financial resources to complete a degree program; Non-refundable application fee payable to UW-Stout in U.S. funds.
