Program Description:
The MST program is intended for state-certified history and social science teachers who want to update their credentials. The program requires graduate-level coursework in history and/or the social sciences and in education.

Eligibility Requirements:
Application to Graduate Study, an undergraduate major in history or social sciences, a 2.75 cumulative GPA in your undergraduate work, and a 3.00 GPA in your undergraduate major. If you do not meet all these criteria, you may appeal to the History Department Graduate Committee for acceptance on probation. Complete a Program of Study form in consultation with your adviser, during the first semester you are in the graduate program.
