Program Description:
The graduate program in public administration is designed to enhance the adminstrative knowledge and skills of persons employed in public and not-for-profit agencies. It seeks to synthesize coursework and employment experiences in a complementary manner. This design makes the program accessible to part-time students who may not be able to come to the campus on a regular basis by using weekend classes supplemented by Internet communication and instruction.
Eligibility Requirements:
Three reference letters are required from individuals who can assess the applicant's likelihood of success in graduate school.
A writing sample is required. Applicants submit a typed, two-page response reflecting on public administration as a threat to or enhancement of liberty, efficiency and equality.
