Program Description:

The Special Education curriculum at UW Oshkosh is designed to prepare students to assume leadership roles in either: a cross categorical license with a concentration in learning disabilities (LD), cognitive disabilities (CD/MR), emotional/behavioral disturbance (EBD) and early childhood education (EC:EEN). The primary goal of each emphasis area is to prepare students for leadership roles in fields which serve exceptional children, youth, and adults. The program is designed to accommodate both full-time and part-time students.

The College is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).

Eligibility Requirements:

Qualified applicants should contact the program coordinator to arrange for an interview.

Applicants must provide two letters from professionals in education, special education, or related disciplines.
