Program Description:

The Helen Bader School of Social Welfare offers a program of graduate studies in social work. The mission of the MSW program is to provide scholarly leadership for the profession of social work through teaching, research, and service. Reflecting the metropolitan mission of UWM and the School of Social Welfare, the MSW Program particularly focuses on metropolitan social problems with a commitment to social and economic justice, cultural diversity, and the empowerment of individuals, families, groups, and communities to effect change.
