Civil Engineering is a strongly people-oriented profession that deals with the infrastructure of a society. Civil engineers design bridges, buildings, and other structures; develop water supply and sewerage systems; plan and design highway and transportation systems; and design foundations, earth and rock structures, and tunnels.
