Program Description:

Students with and without a background in therapeutic recreation can pursue this degree. Students learn to develop and implement treatment, leisure, education, and recreation programs for individuals with special needs. The program prepares students to be eligible to become certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists. Thesis and nonthesis options are available. Graduate assistantships and internships are available.
