Program Description:

Western's Graduate Programs in Media Studies foster interdisciplinary study at the intersection of media, technology and culture. The M.A. program is a two-year program and students may choose between a thesis option and an major research paper option. Part-time program available. The PhD program is designed to be completed in 4 years and is composed of coursework, comprehensive exams and a thesis based on original research. Funding package for full-time students in both M.A. and Ph.D.
