Program Description:

Clinical skills training in Sports Physical Therapy and Manual Therapy are our core programs at the Graduate [Masters] level. These courses are offered in a flexible delivery mode with short, intensive, on-campus clinical requirements. External study units may be commenced at any time. The research training degree is offered at Masters [MSc and M.Medical Sc] and Doctoral levels, accommodating a wide range of fundamental and clinical study options within an inter-disciplinary research centre, based on a major teaching hospital campus in Perth, Western Australia. Access is available to state of the art research laboratories. The University of Western Australia is one of the oldest and prestigious research universties in Australia. We welcome enquiries regarding our postgraduate clinical and research programs in Physical Therapy. A Doctor of Physiotherapy [DPT] degree will be offered in 2004, comprising coursework and dissertation related to neuromusculoskeletal practice.
