Program Description:

The application of feminist insights to theology has proved one of the most exciting and fruitful academic developments of recent years. Feminist theology is linked to human experience, shows a respect for the natural world, is sensitive to race, class and gender, and seeks to analyse the dynamics of power relations. When applied to traditional scriptural and theological studies approaches enable new questions to be asked and offer answers which take account of both female and male perspectives and praxis.
