Program Description:
The Master of Landscape Architecture degree program (M.L.A.) prepares students from diverse academic backgrounds for professional careers as designers who will shape both the civic and the domestic landscapes. The program begins with a required summer design and drawing course, followed by three academic years. Students integrate studies in history/theory, construction, plants/ecology in their design studio projects. Students with previous professional degrees in landscape architecture or architecture are admitted with one year standing.
