Program Information
Format: Campus
Program Description:
For more than 70 years, The University of Tulsa College of Law has turned the abstract ideals of justice into the specifics of individuals in need. Whether through assisting an elderly personwith a Social Security problem or completing an internship atthe Cherokee Nation's tribal headquarters, students are encouraged to apply classroom theory to real-life situations. This combination of concept and practice, of the big picture andthe personal, is standard at the TU College of Law, where faculty members balance teachingand scholarship with mentoring students: as team coaches for national court competitions; asadvisors on scholarly papers; and as professors who will take extra time when a complex lecture leaves a student with questions
