Program Description:

English Language ProgramThe Department of Biology offers Master's degree studies in plant physiology and microbiology. These studies are designed for students who want to obtain an adequate platform for graduate studies within experimental plant sciences, basic as well as applied. The studies are also suited for students who need a solid knowledge in plant science or/and microbiology for a career in teaching or administration. The studies will give both a practical and a theoretical training in plant physiology and microbiology. Within plant physiology, the main focus is on development physiology and hormone physiology. Microbiology is concentrated on soil-living microorganisms, with a special emphasis on nitrogen fixing bacteria.
