Program Description:

In addition to offering the Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree, the Medical School collaborates with the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in a six-year program leading to both the M.D. and Ph.D. degrees, and it cooperates with the School of Public Health in a five-year program leading to both the M.D. and Master of Public Health degrees. Students also may arrange to take special-interest courses at Rice University and Baylor College of Medicine.
