The Nuclear Engineering program provides instruction and research opportunities in nuclear radiation and reactor theory, nuclear systems analysis and design, and nuclear technology experimental techniques. Research is also conducted in the areas of reactor physics, neutron physics, thermal hydraulics, the safety and reliability of nuclear systems, radiation transport andmeasurement, health and medical physics, radioactive waste disposal, and thermal hydraulics.
