Program Description:

The online MSN program builds on UT Tyler’s undergraduate program in nursing and provides a firm basis for doctoral level education. There are several options within the MSN degree: administration, nurse practitioner, and education. There is also a Nursing Education Certificate option, a RN-MSN option, and a coordinated MSN/MBA degree plan.

UT Tyler also offers a PhD in Nursing. The focus of the doctoral program is the health of communities within the context of culture. Nursing PhD program offers doctoral education to those who have limited access to doctoral education. The program is offered entirely on-line with the exception of a five-day orientation each summer prior to beginning coursework.
