Program Description:

Human Resource Development (HRD) is a process of developing human expertise through organization development and personnel training and development so that individual improvement enhances corporate performance. Careers in this field are available in business, nonprofit, educational, and governmental settings. The HRD program provides students the opportunity to combine study and related experiences to develop, apply, analyze, synthesize, and evaluate knowledge of the purposes, practices, issues, and problems of private for profit and public not-for-profit organizations. Students have the opportunity to learn how to design, deliver, and evaluate effective training programs.
