Program Description:
The Department of Food Science and Technology offers the Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophydegrees. Students in the doctoral program may choose research in the concentration areas of foodprocessing, food chemistry, food microbiology or sensory evaluation of foods. Commodity interests(meats, dairy, fruits, vegetables, bakery products) can be emphasized in any of the areas by carefulselection of courses and the research topic. Minors are available in cognate fields.
