MBA with a concentration in Nonprofit Management, Certificate in Nonprofit Management
The University of Tampa's Nonprofit Management program is designed to strengthen the effectiveness of leaders in social sector organizations. Students may participate in the certificate track or apply to the MBA program.
This high-quality two-year academic program is taught by Ph.D. faculty in partnership with leading local and national nonprofit practitioners. The courses are delivered as intensive cohort-based, one-week seminars representing 16 credit hours of graduate-level instruction.
The program focuses on topics such as effective board governance, strategic planning, understanding and creating budgets, marketing and fund development, conducting a feasibility study, and tapping into leadership potential — all topics designed to help students become better managers. Nationwide, it is estimated that more than 600,000 new senior managers will be needed in the nonprofit sector during the next five years.
