Program Description:

The Master of Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations offers specialised qualifi cations to students engaged in, or contemplating careers in, industrial relations, human resource management and related areas.

Lectures are presented by nationally and internationally respected academic staff whose research interests cover a wide range of fields, including Australian and comparative
industrial relations, workplace industrial relations, labour history, labour law, industrial sociology, labour economics, the management of human resources and organisational behaviour.

International Student Requirements:

If English is not your first language and your first degree was not undertaken at an institution where English is the sole language of instruction, you will need to demonstrate English language proficiency before admission can be confirmed. The language qualifications accepted by the Faculty of Economics and Business are: • IELTS overall band score of 7.0, with at least 6.0 on each band • TOEFL 600 or better, plus Test of Written English (TWE) at 4.5+ • TOEFL computer based 250 or better, plus Test of Written English (TWE) at 4.5+
