Program Description:

This is a two-year, distance programme. AIM: To immerse language teachers, lecturers and other educators, speech and language therapists, translators, interpreters, publishers and language advisors in the scientific study of the nature, knowledge, acquisition and use of second languages. CONTENT: Perspectives on second languages drawn from various disciplines, including linguistic theory, pragmatics, socio- and psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, applied educational linguistics, diachronic linguistics and literacy studies.
