Program Description:
The Southern Miss Dept. of Marine Science offers M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in marine science and hydrographic science. A limited number of graduate assistantships are available to qualified students including a full-tuition waiver. These awards also include a monthly stipend. Programs of study include a master's degree and a doctoral degree in Marine Science and a unique master's degree in Hydrographic Science that is certified at the Category A level by the FIG/IHO.
