Program Description:
This program offers teachers, resource specialists, and instructional leaders the knowledge of how to best support children, adolescent, adn adult readers and writers. The curriculum focuses on reading instruction, diagnosis and correction of reading problems, theories and processes of writng, and multiple assessments for classroom use. Students can pursue second-language learning, bilingual methods, and other electives in language and literacy development.
