Program Description:
The M.E. TEFL program is an innovative one-year professional development program for teachers, teacher trainers, and administrators involved in teaching English as a foreign language internationally. This intensive program blends the latest learning and teaching theories with hands-on practice in program and syllabus design and language teaching methods. The M.E. TEFL is designed for teachers and other professionals who wish to successfully enhance their practice and advance their careers in the English language teaching field. Program Benefits

Eligibility Requirements:
Sealed official academic transcripts from all postsecondary institutions attended. Copy of TOEFL score report (include program at the top of the sheet)
International Student Requirements:
The M.E. TEFL offers tailored English language support to international teachers whose TOEFL score is below 100 iBT or 250 CBT. International applicants admitted to the M.E. TEFL program with a TOEFL score below 100/250 will enroll in the USC Language Academy for 20 weeks of specialized and intensive English language development in the month prior to M.E. TEFL courses and continue through the first semester of the program.
