Program Description:

The M.E. PASA program prepares educators to work in a variety of capacities within two-year, four-year and professional postsecondary institutions. Graduates pursue careers supporting students and partnerships with faculty and other members of the campus community. The PASA program offers a balance between current theory and its application to improve practice on campus. Students will have the opportunity to develop one of three areas of proficiency:

• Academic Advising: Prepares graduates to be college advising professionals. Graduates will be key players in the fields such as academic advisement and career counseling.

• Athletic Administration: Designed to prepare professionals for careers as athletic administrators, and leaders in postsecondary athletics programs with a solid understanding of the relationship between intercollegiate athletics and higher education. Graduates will be key players in fields such as athletic administration, student athletic academic services, compliance, and other areas of the intercollegiate sports industry.

• Student Affairs: Prepares professionals as entry and mid-level professionals. Graduates will be key players in student programming, admissions, Greek and residential education, judicial affairs, disability services, and other areas of student affairs.
