Program Information
Degree Offered
MSc Corporate Risk and Security Management
Format: Campus
Program Description:
This is reflected in the employment market for graduates, through an extreme shortage of qualified personnel. In particular, the security industry is estimated to be the fastest growing service sector in the UK. Increased government and international regulation of organisational risk has also been matched by the need for a greater number of consultants and experts with specialist knowledge.
The Corporate Risk and Security Management MSc programme has similarities to our MSc in Risk Management, however it is structured to provide students with greater flexibility through fewer core units and an enhanced choice of options.
The programme provides greater emphasis on the 'people' or 'human' issues, associated with corporate risk and security. Hence, the emphasis in this programme is placed on qualitative management of corporate risk and security, rather than a quantitative approach to risk.
