Program Description:

USF has an active and competitive graduate program in Geology. We offer Doctoral (Ph.D.) and Master's (M.S.) degrees in Geology with concentrations in a variety of disciplines. Currently, the Department has 61 graduate students enrolled and we support 30 of these students through Teaching Assistantships and Research Assistantships. Our students travel the world pursuing the highest levels of research in geology, and we provide students with excellent facilities at USF for getting the job done. USF Geology faculty are committed to helping our graduate students progress through the program rapidly so they can move on to successful careers in industry, government, and academia.
