Program Description:

World Languages offers courses in Spanish language and literature at every level. According to Ethnologue Spanish is today the language of more than 320 million speakers in the world. It is spoken in Spain, northern Africa, Equatorial Guinea, and the Americas. After Chinese and Hindi, English and Spanish are the most spoken languages worldwide. Spanish is truly a global language both in terms of its geographic extension and its impact in economic, political, and cultural spheres.
