Program Description:

The Department of Health Administration is concerned with the promotion of individual and community health through improvements in healthcare delivery. At the master's level the programs are designed to prepare qualified individuals to assume leadership positions in regulatory and provider health services organizations, including those in public, non-profit, and for-profit sectors. Doctoral degrees in HealthAdministration prepare graduates to serve as faculty members in University settings, to perform health services research, or to serve in appropriate capacities with international, national, or state agencies.
